Governor Announces Appointments

On November 27th, Governor Warner announced appointments to various boards and commissions, including the Board for Waste Management Facility Operators.

“During this period of diminished state resources, the oversight function of these boards and commissions has become even more important,” Governor Warner said. I appreciate the time, energy, and expertise these individuals bring to these positions.”
The following individuals have been appointed to the Waste Management Facility Operators Board. This board is responsible for promulgating regulations and standards for the training and licensing of waste management facility operators within the Commonwealth.

Governor Warner has appointed the following individuals:

• Mark Edward Brandon, President of Barks Inc.
• W. A. Dennison, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works; City of Bristol
• Harry E. Gregori, Jr., Assistant to the Director – Department of Environmental Quality
• Daniel Miles, Director of Operations; Southeastern Public Service Authority
• Thomas H. Wade, Landfill Manager; First Piedmont Corp.
