DEQ Announces Organizational Changes
DEQ – Waste Division has recently announced organizational changes resulting from the Governor’s directive to decrease spending.
Effectively, these changes place the regional offices with Solid Waste permitting responsibility. Specifically, all permit related correspondence should be submitted to the regions’- Waste Compliance Manager (WCM), who will then forward this information to the permit writer for review/action.
The Central Office will be responsible for Part A applications, monitoring ground water and modeling functions, however the regional offices should be copied on this correspondence as well.
The following list provides contact information for the Waste Compliance Manager and Permit Writers for the various regions.
